Journal #3: What is your favorite part of World History that you've learned about this year?


In Class: Today I handed out a new note page and we filled out sections 1-2 (If absent you can come pick one up from me when you return)
We also talked about the Wars in Yugoslavia- on page 5 of your packet you will find a movie note guide- we did not have time to watch this in class so if you would like to watch it for Extra Credit here is the link :) ONCE BROTHERS MOVIE

Homework: Work on filling out your reviews as your test will be next Thursday!!!

Journal #1: Tell me what you love about your mom OR a Motherly figure in your life

Journal #2:

• Who should be exempt from the draft? 
• Should people who believe the war is wrong be forced to fight?
• Should people with special skills be exempt?
• How can a draft be made fair? 

In Class: Today we drew for your final teams for the rest of the school year!!! If you were absent you have been placed onto a team :)  We learned about Vietnam today and filled out pages 3-4 of your packets (If you were absent you may come in during tutoring to make this activity up) 

Homework: None :) 

May 10/11

Today you turned your packets in and took the UNIT 13 TEST!!!!

 If you were ABSENT you must get your packet turned into me the day you return (otherwise it will be counted as a late grade)

 and 

you MUST take your test within ONE WEEK!

May 9

Journal: None

In Class: Today you finished up your timeline + article and turned it in (if you didn't turn it in, it will be considered late) If you were absent you may come in during tutoring to finish up :)

Homework: Your test is FRIDAY! You will also be turning in your packets so make sure they are all filled out and your reviews are done! Remember if you need extra help you may come in during tutoring!

Journal #5: How do you think the President should respond if another country is aggressive towards us? 

In Class: Today we finished section 5 and the timeline on page 8 of your packet (if absent you may get these notes from a friend or on the blog)  Our activity for today was the space race timeline and newspaper article- if you did not finish today it is due on WEDNESDAY.... Wednesday will be a study hall/review day so if you were unable to finish then you have the class period on Wednesday as well. 

Homework:   Your test and packet are due on WEDNESDAY!!!! If you need some extra help make sure that you come in during tutoring :)

In Class: We finished up section 3 of your notes from last class period as well as section 5 and the timeline on page 8 of your packet (if absent you may get these notes from a friend or on the blog) Our activity for today was the space race timeline and newspaper article- if you did not finish today it is due on THURSDAY

Homework: if you did not finish timeline + Article due on THURSDAY.  Your test and packet will also be due on THURSDAY!!!! If you need some extra help make sure that you come in during tutoring :)
